Summary of Hoot

Hoot is about a team of middle school students that are trying to prevent a consruction site that is going to be built on burrows of some owls, therefore the owls will either leave or stay and take care of their children. Hoot is sepperated into two different points of view. One view is with Roy and his friends and the other is about Officer Delinko and his partners.

Roy Ebarhardt is getting bullied by Dana Matherson and while getting bullied on the Trace Middle School schoolbus, Roy discovers a boy running without any shoes. While Roy finds out all of these things, coconut cove's construction site is being vandlized. Later Roy meets Beatrice Leep, also a Trace Middle School student, knows who the running mysterious boy. Later on they team up. Roy, ....

Officer Delinko is the pollice officer in coconut cove. His job is to slove the vandilism problems and on his way of figuiring out the mysteries he starts to feel sorry for the owls but he knows he can't do anything to stop the people from building the pancake house. He later discovers the vandel is just ....
